Enrique “Henry” Perez, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Alice, Texas at the age of 90. He was born on October 19, 1926 to Cresencio and Edelmira Perez in Hebbronville, Texas. Henry proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Army during WWII. For the remainder of his lifetime, Henry dedicated his time and hard work to operating his own business, Henry’s Welding Service in Falfurrias, Texas.

Enrique is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sophie K. Perez; son, Enrique “Henry” Perez, Jr.; two brothers, Ilifonso “Poncho” Perez and Erasmo Perez and sister, Hortencia Canales. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his two daughters, Erika (Arturo) Longoria of Lake Jackson, Texas and Linda (Carlos) Sauceda of Katy, Texas; brother, Ernesto Perez of Hebbronville; four sisters, Oralia Davila of California, Osvelia Maldonado , Olga (Erasmo) Canales and Odilia (Jesus) Ruiz all of Hebbronville; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
