Philip I, of Parlington, co. York and Alkborough, co. Lincoln; died 24 Sept 1313; married Margaret de Goushill, daughter of Sir Ralph de Goushill of Goxhill, co. Lincoln, and Hawise FitzWarin.

He was the second son of Hugh "Earl of Winchester" Despenser of Loughborough, Arnesby, co. Leicester & c., lst Lord Le Despenser (summons to Parliament by writ from 24 June 1295); created Earl of Winchester; executed 1326; and his wife, Isabel De Beauchamp Despenser.

He and Margaret were parents of Philip II, of Camoys Manor in Toppesfield, Essex; born 6 April 1313; died 23 Aug 1349; Lord Le Despenser (summoned to Parliament by writ from 17 Dec 1387); married Joan de Cobham, daughter of John de Cobham, 2nd Lord Cobham by his first wife, Joan De Beauchamp Cobham , daughter of John de Beauchamp, 1st Lord of Hatch.
