Samuel M. Simpson, 51, vice president of the Little Falls Felt Shoe Company, succumbed Sunday afternoon in Faxton Hospital, Utica, as the result of injuries suffered in a two-car collision on April 8 near Mohawk.
He was the son of Frank M. and May Stacey Simpson.
His marriage to Marjorie Soons took place in Englewood, New Jersey on May 3, 1940.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Margaret Simpson, at home; two sons, Peter, Pittsford, and Pvt. William Simpson, Fort Jackson, SC; two sisters, Mrs. John (Ellen) Martin, Mt. Kisco; and Mrs. John (Ann) White, Madison, NJ and four brothers, Irving Stacey Simpson, Little Falls; Frank M. Simpson, Jr., Hillsboro, CA; Norman L. Simpson, Syracuse and Robert Simpson, Rolling Hills, CA; two grandchildren; two aunts, Mrs. Wentworth (Mabel) Brown, Little Falls; Mrs. John (Edna) DeCamp, Flint, MI; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
