From the LaRue Co. Herald News, June 9, 1960: Mr. Kenneth Bennett, U. S. Government Employee in Germany, who was called here by the death of his brother-in-law, John A. Howard, spent the weekend with his sister and two children and his brother, Mr. Logan Bennett, and family. He left Louisville yesterday by plane for Detroit, where he visited his sister, Mrs. Mary Elsie Dickerson and family. From Detroit he will fly to Philadelphia and on to New York, where he will board a plane Friday for the return trip to Germany.

From the LaRue Co. Herald News, 1955:
Kenneth Bennett, of this city left Tuesday for Frankfurt, Germany, where he has taken a position for two years as personnel manager of Stars and Stripes, an Army Publication.
Mrs. Bennett and children will remain here until the close of the present school term. They have taken an apartment in the Shaffer Apartment House on East High Street.
