Benjamin F. Bartch received 3 BLM land patents; 2 in Idaho and one in Oregon. 24 March 1901, B. F. Bartch was in Payette, Idaho where he and his nephew Martenus Frederick Albert (along with others) were elected directors of the Noble Ditch company.
(The Noble Ditch company was an important addition to the farmers of Payette, Idaho.)
About 1874 Benjamin Franklin Bartch married Margaret K. Coughanour. They had 4 children; Alice R., b. 1876; Lloyd B., b. 1879; Baby Bartch, b. 1880 (but did not live long); Gertrude M. Bartch, b. 1883. Only one child lived long enough to marry; Gertrude married Stanley S. Soule. They did not have children.
