Weltmer—
Daniel J. Weltmer died at his home, 803 Hiawatha avenue, Sunday morning, June 21, at 10:15. He had been a sufferer over a year with heart trouble and other complications. Beside his mother, Mrs. Susan Weltmer, 84 years old, he is survived by a brother, J. J. Weltmer, and two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Weyer and Mrs. S. L. Swartz. The funeral will be held at the Christian church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock and the body taken to Hamlin on the noon train for burial.

Weltmer—
The funeral of Daniel A. Weltmer was held at the Christian church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Brokaw. The body was taken to Hamlin on the noon train for burial. Autos conveyed the relatives and friends from the house to the church and from the house to the church and from the church to the depot.
    Daniel A. Weltmer was born near Easton, Buchanan county, Mo., April 2, 1854. In 1863 he came with his parents to Brown county, where he has since lived. His death occurred at his home in Hiawatha, Sunday morning, June 21, at 10:15. He had therefore attained the age of 60 years, 2 months and 19 days. He had been an invalid for the past 14 months, bearing with the utmost patience his suffering. About 49 years ago Mr. Weltmer united with the Christian church. He is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Susan Weltmer, by a brother, John J., and two sisters, Mrs. S. L. Swartz and Mrs. Wm. Weyer, all of whom live in Hiawatha.
