It was a beautiful fall day when Jim joined those who have passed before him: granddaughter, Kayla Ann Grier, son, Jason, wife, Vicki, and his beloved parents, Martha (Midge) and Lloyd.
Jim filled a room with laughter, loved with all he had, and as those close to him know "did it his way". He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from General Motors working in Oldsmobile assembly.
Jim was survived by his daughter, Jamie; brother and best friend, Bill (Ellen); stepdaughters, Jessica (Jason) Parrott, Meghan (Kyle) Rowinski, sister, Sharon (Dick) Dedic; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Jim was a gun enthusiast, treated his many dogs like children, and is now at peace.
Private services were held. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath, Michigan.
The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel.
