Conn, Edna, age 88, of Decherd, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Manchester Healthcare Center. Mrs. Conn was a member of the Farris Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked for R&W Clothing Industry for many years before retiring. Mrs. Conn was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband, Jack Conn, for 64 years. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Biddie Kilgore. Mrs. Conn is survived by a sister, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation with the family was held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 5-9p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ross Peterson officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
