Phyllis Gail Boring, 78, Hastings, passed away October 20, 2016, at home. Born November 24, 1937, in Duncansville, the daughter of William E. Sr. and Estella (Corcelious) Neely. Preceded in death by parents; husband William J. Boring; infant son, Jimmy Bill Ledford; and brother, William "Bucky" Neely. Survived by children, Jerry, husband of Jody(Gray), Hastings; Darlene Gillette (Fred Weymer), Patton; and William Boring (Mike Chaplin), Patton; grandchildren, Jerry Jr., husband of Amanda (Shaw), Crystal Boring (Roger Gearhart), Kelsie Boring, Tiffany Boring (Mike Strausbaugh), Mary (Gillette), husband of Josh Swanson, Samantha Gillette, and 3 great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a social member of the VFW's of Hastings and Patton, and Hastings Fire Club. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday, at Moriconi Funeral home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where services will be held at 7 p.m., lay Pastor James F. Whited, officiating.
