Fred R. Ax, 78, of Terre Haute passed away early Friday morning, April 13, 2007, at Union Hospital. He was born on Aug. 29, 1928.
He was a DAV member, and he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved remote-controlled airplanes and really enjoyed playing and working with robotics. He retired from Alcan as a crane operator.
Survivors include one son, Larry Ax of Terre Haute.
An immediate burial has been scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday in Roselawn Memorial Park. Roselawn Funeral Home has assisted in making the arrangements.
