Agnes married Allen C. Ross on August 18, 1951 and they had 10 children of which John Gerard and Patricia Maureen passed in their early childhood. Agnes was widowed March 11, 1987.
Agnes is survived by her remaining 8 children and their spouses: Carolyn Hopkins (James), Michael Ross (Maddie), Ken Ross (Nancy), Richard Ross (Kathy), Mary Dittig (Bill), Jim Ross, Bob Ross and Tom Ross. Agnes has 11 grandchildren: Nick Ross, Nathan Ross, Natalie Ross, Emily Dittig, Will Dittig, Katie Ross, Michelle Ross, Matthew Ross (Bri), Jonny Ross, Ray Ross and Christina Olson (Steve). Agnes has 5 great grandchildren: Maddie Olson, Olivia Olson, Isabel Olson, Evelyn Ross and Andrew Ross.
Agnes loved her children and grandchildren, and would do anything for them. She enjoyed family gatherings the most and playing cards, baking, taking photos of her family enjoying life were her many pastimes. She brought a true meaning of how to love and care for people to each of her family, their children and friends; her laughter, love and great sense of human kindness will live with us forever. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church located at 15 S. 12th Avenue, Yakima, WA on Saturday, November 12th at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Monsignor Ecker will officiate. The funeral and mass is open to all family and friends of Agnes Ross. A grave site burial at Calvary Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral mass. The grave site ceremony is only for immediate family members. All friends and are invited to a lunch following the mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
