Joe Toby Still was born on September 11, 1921 in Nowata, Oklahoma. He was the son of Anthony Toby Still and Myrtle (Powell) Still.

Joe served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. While in the service, he was a Prisoner of War in Germany.

Upon returning from the war, he owned and operated Joe Still’s Garage in Bartlesville, OK. Upon retiring, Joe moved to Cape Fair and then Shell Knob, Missouri.

Joe loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He usually ate lunch at the Senior Center in Shell Knob and was very loved there. He also liked to fish, work in his yard and square dance.

Joe entered into rest on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Hollister, at the age of 95.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mabel Louise Still; one daughter, Jo LaVerne Hudson;
three brothers, Denzil, Bob and Lee Still; and three sisters, Mabel Hurd, Bonnie Harris and Betty Hagabusch.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Still of Green Forest, AR and Toby Triboulet of Hollister; four step children; eight grandchildren; fourteen step grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren. Funeral services with military honors were held Sunday, October 23 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.
