I searched dozens of newspapers and records looking to see if his name popped up but other than missing man newspaper articles for 1928, that is it on him. One of the articles said he was not feeling well and went into town to get an operation on appendicitis. His wife was ill and in bed and did not go with him. Last seen by townsman in town walking down street but doctor said he never made it to see him.
His family never found him or heard from again according the the articles. I found nothing in my search of records either.
He made it into town. I wonder since he had $200 on him to pay for medical care if someone didn't rob / kill him.
