Carmen Louise Alban, 81, of Hampstead, MD, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Golden Crest Assisted Living. Born on November 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Almeda Babylon. She was the wife of the late Martin Luther Alban, Sr.

She worked for 20 years for North Carroll High School in the Special Education Department and was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Snydersburg, MD.

She is survived by her daughters: Marie Rhoten and her husband Michael, Susan Martin and her husband Keith, step son: Kenneth Alban, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sons: Gary and Martin L. Alban Jr., a stepdaughter: Brenda Cullison, and siblings: Alice L. Kelly, Arthur Babylon, and Edward Babylon.
