"BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Genevieve "Jimmie" Alexander, 90, of Brownsville passed away at 12:35 PM October 23, 2016 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
The Edmonson County native was a model and inspector for Western Electric, a former member of Beaver Dam United Baptist Church, a member of Brownsville Homemakers, a member of the Rivierra Club, a member of the Indianapolis Broad Ripple Chapter VFW Ladies Auxilliary and a member of Keystone Christian Church. She was a daughter of the late James Carl Wells and Flora White James Wells and the wife of the late Carter Smith Alexander.
Funeral will be conducted by Bro. Malcolm Doyle at 2:00 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-9 PM Saturday and after 9 AM Sunday.
Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Alexander of Indianapolis; a sister, Violet Wells of Brownsville; a grandson, Kyler Alexander; and several nieces and nephews."
