Dr. Jean Clark Mize 73,of 177 Carem Road,Union,widow of Harold Mize,died Wednesday Dec 27,2006 at her home.Jean was the daughter of Malcolm O. Clark and Niles Johnson Clark.
Jean graduated from Winthrop College where she recived her bachelor of science degree and also her Masters degree Cum Laude.Jean received her Doctoral of Speech Therapy from the University of South Carolina. She had worked in the Union County School System,and the Cherokee County School System, retiring from both districts. She was a member of the National Educational Association,the American Legion Auxillary and a former member of the Union County School Board Trustees.
