My dad served with him in Vietnam and was a good friend. He was there when he died and actually held him in his arms. I have some pictures my mom shared with me recently and I would like to email them. Maybe you could pick out which guy was Stephen. My Dad passed away about three years ago and would have really liked to have talked to anyone about him. Did he ever talk about a good friend Dennis Kipp? He was friends with both of them. If you would like please email me soon any time you feel like it. I would be very glad to hear from you! My dad served in Mike 3/1 and India 3/1 and was wounded on April 5th and October 20,1969. My Dad's real name was Willie Ray Phillips and his nickname was "Phil". Heather Pauley, 96 Walnut Road Elkview, WV 25071.
