Rose Marie Cisler, age 86, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday morning, October 30, 2016 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Rosie was born on May 17, 1930 in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late John and Lucille (Hassmer) Carbon Sr. On October 27, 1948 she married Raymond Cisler at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Rosie worked at a variety of grocery stores in the bakery department and also at St. Mary's Home and the Felician Village for many years. She was previously employed by Harmony West Assisted Living and lastly employed by Wal-Mart. Rosie was a lifetime member of the Senior Center in Manitowoc and also a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Manitowoc.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Sandi Cisler, Kenosha, Ronald and Ann Cisler, Spartanburg, SC; one daughter: Roxane Cisler, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Derek (Anne) Cisler, Jodie (Adam) Meier, John Siewert, Breane Siewert, Michelle Johnson, Ryan (Becky) Cisler; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters: Mary Carol Haupt, rural Manitowoc, Marjorie Brandl, rural Manitowoc; two brothers and one sister-in-law: John "Jack" Carbon Jr, Manitowoc, Richard (Janice) Carbon, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law: Judy Carbon, Green Bay, Doreen Carbon, Manitowoc, and Inez Jurgens, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Roger "Red" Carbon, Frederick "Bob" Powers, and Raymond Carbon; two sisters: June (Ted) Meyer and Caroline Tryjillo; and one brother-in-law: Elmer Brandl.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Beaudry with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
