John R. Blum passed away suddenly at his Norwood, Pennsylvania home. He was 68 years old. John had an extensive coaching career with many youth and high school football programs at Interboro School District. John was a proud Vietnam veteran, serving with the United States Marine Corps. John was very devoted to his family. John was preceded in death by his mother, Rosula Stein (nee Blum), father Richard Stein, and brother, Robin Blum. John is survived by Roberta (nee Davis), his loving wife of 46 years, his children Lisa (Steve) Phillips, and Michelle (Woody) Latorre, his grandchildren, Steven Jr., Chynna, Jon Richard (Bubba), Mackenzie, and Franco, two brothers Mike and Al Moyer, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends attended his visitation and funeral service on Sunday, October 30th at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home 301 Chester Pike Norwood, Pa. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consisder memorial donations to the Prospect Park Termites, 637 14th Ave. Prospect Park, PA 19076.
