PFC Robert Bruce Annas was a member of the Army. PFC Annas served our country until February 1, 1968 in South Vietnam. He was 37 years old and was married. It was reported that Robert was wounded in Combat on 1 February 1968, but then was returned to the United States to recover, where he later passed away on 9 June 1984 in a Veteran's Hospital in Virginia. His body was recovered. PFC Annas is on panel 36E, line 066 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He died at McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, VA of his wounds.
His parents were Mr Harold B Annas and Mrs Lucille Dolores Runhke Annas.
He served with Echo Company, 3rd Battalion, 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, "Old Reliables", USARV.
He was awarded The Combat Infantryman's Badge(CIB), The Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal and The Good Conduct Medal.
