Services Set Today For H. B. Dicks

Harry Burton Dicks, 65, of 562 National Highway, LaVale, was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital Friday night. Mr. Dicks had been in failing health a year.

He had been the operator of Maryland Electric Company here for 40 years.

A native of Winchester, Va., he was a son of the late Scott and Alice (Nicewarmer) Dicks. His wife. Daisy Marie (Midyette) Dicks, died in 1960.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Richard Dicks, LaVale, and Richard C. Dicks, at home; a daughter. Mrs. Joseph F. Radcliff, LaVale; and seven grandchildren.

The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home here where a service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. with Rev. Adam E. Grim, pastor of LaVale Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Winchester.

Pallbearers will be Joseph T. Downey, David Goodfellow, Clifford Goodfellow, John E. Mertens, Charles Weiskettle, Henry Dressman and Mayor Earl D. Chancy.
