Rosina Middleton Horton died on 9 Feb 1989 at the Virginia Beach Hospital. She was survived by one son, two sisters, and four brothers. She was the widow of Ralph ”Rip” Horton, who died in 1977, and the mother of the late John C. Horton, who died in 1985.
Mrs. Horton was a native of Alexandria; a member of the Catholic Church of the Ascension; the former president of The Margaret Roper Moss Circle of the King’s Daughters; a member of the Board of Directors of Girls’ Camp Fund; Board of Directors member of the Tidewater Administration Society; former administrative assistant for Tidewater Psychiatric Institute; and a 20-year resident of Virginia Beach.
