Vivian Beryl Hungate was born April 30,1898 in Fountaintown(Shelby County) the son of Williami Judson & Lulu Sanders Hungate. His brothers & sisters were: Harold Haskett Fuzz Hungate, Geneva Hungate Fitzgerald, Harry Francies Hungate, Esther Hungate & Wayne Judson Hungate Jr.
Vivian married Lola Blanche Rigdon on September 24,1919. They had two children: Robert Beryl Hungate & William J.Hungate.
He worked for the Associates Investment Co. in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Morristown Masonic Lodge NO.193, Royal Arch Masons, Greenfield Commandery,Murat Shrine, Shelbyville Elks & Columbia Club.
He was a member of the Fountaintown United Methodist Church. He was interested in the work of the Fountaintown Youth Group Center.
Vivian died August 2,1964 in the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. Frazier funeral home was in charge of funeral services at that were held at the Fountaintown Methodist Church. Rev.Walter Brown & Rev. Max Odell officated the funeral. He is buried in the Fountaintown Cemetery.
