Ronald L. Bailey, 75, of Tuscola IL passed away peacefully at 8:43 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. surrounded by family.
Mr. Bailey was born on December 27, 1940 in Vigo County, Indiana. He was the son of Lorenzo N. Bailey and Margaret (McClara) Bailey. He married Irma L. Pine on June 23, 1964 in Terre Haute, IN. She preceded him in death on April 26, 2008.
Survivors include six children, Yvonna (Kenny) Stevens of Atwood, IL, Kenny (Sunhui) Hogue of Tuscola, IL, Tonya (Gary) Shearon of Bement, IL, Norma (Gerry) Stahler of Bement, IL, and Bill (Tonya) Bailey of Navarre, FL.

Mr. Bailey was a hard worker and former coal miner, and retired from Eagle Wing Industries as a Maintenance Electrician in 2007. Ron served in the US Army and he was a member of the Pana Masonic Lodge. He was always willing to help others and enjoyed his cat, Nascar and the Chicago Cubs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a son, Jeff Bailey
