Mary "May" Tebbs Calvin was the 3rd child out of 7 children born to Sarah "Sade" McEwen and Daniel Tebbs, on January 13th 1893, in Goldendale Washington.
In June of 1903 Mary along with her siblings came down with T.B. All survived but her brother Ambrose (he passed when he was 3 years old)
Then on February 15th 1907, Mary's mother Sarah (Sade) passed away from T.B. Mary helped her sister Sarah raise the younger children.
Mary married Elmer Calvin in Goldendale, and moved to Portland Oregon, after living in Alaska for awhile while Elmer worked in Alaska.
Mary and Elmer had two children:
Velma Vearl Calvin (married Dr. Donald Louis Hill,) now deceased
Elmer Lyle Calvin (married Eugenia (Jean) Ivy). now deceased
Mary passed away on February 11th 1964 in Portland Oregon and is buried in Goldendale Washington, along with all of her siblings and her parents, in Goldendale Washington.
