Vesta Tebbs was born in Goldendale Washington in 1891 to Daniel and Sarah(McEwen) Tebbs( their 2nd child)
Vesta graduated with honors as valedictorian of her Goldendale class.. She then attended business college in Idaho, then moved back to Goldendale where she worked in banks before running for the office of county auditor. And worked in the court house for many years.
She loved being in the Belkins club and hosting card games at her house.
She was a convention going member of the Republican Party.
She never married but had 14 nieces and nephews..
Vesta is buried along with her mother and father, and two brothers (Daniel James and Ambrose) in the family plot. Her two sisters and two brothers (May and Nell, and Abe and Cedric) are also buried in the same cemetery, in different sections of the cemetery.
