Found in The State 05 January 1969: Mrs. Nida Aiken Boney, 88, of 1612 Crestwood Drive, widow of Samuel E. Boney, died Saturday in Columbia Hospital. Mrs. Boney was born in Fairfield County, daughter of the late David William and Sallie Ashford Aiken. She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mayme Aiken Truesdale of Columbia; and a brother, James Hagood Aiken of Winnsboro. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Peden G. Curry. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
