Mabel Louise Southerland Allen, age 91, of West Memphis, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Jonesboro. She was born December 10, 1924 in Arkadelphia, to the late Luther Alexander and Gladys Southerland. Louise was a member of West Memphis First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Allen and one sister, Mildred Welch.

Survivors are two daughters, Pat Lackey and husband, Greg of West Memphis, Jan Lee Allen of New Orleans, Louisiana.; three grandchildren, Lee White and husband, Tom of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Tricia Wallin Walls and husband, Shane of San Antonio, Texas and Everette (Skipper) Wallin of Los Angeles , California; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas White and Marshall White and one great-great grandson, Riley White.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 10th at Rose Hill Cemetery in Arkadelphia. There will be no formal visitation. Arrangements are by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
