Ada Virginia Hatfield 76 of Glasgow died Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Glasgow. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Clarence and Emma Loraine Doty Green and wife of the late Sammie M. Hatfield. Ada was a homemaker and a baby sitter and was a member of Hanging Fork Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 sons William S. “Billy” Hatfield (Patty) of Glasgow and Kenneth H. Hatfield (Julie) of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Bailey and Makenna Hatfield; 3 brothers James Green, Bryant Green (Brenda) and Jerry D. Green (Marcella all of Glasgow; 1 sister Jean Gentry of Shepherdsville, 2 brothers-in-law Neal Hawks and William H. “Bill” Hatfield; a sister-in-law Agnes Hatfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Marshall, Forester and Carl Green and 3 sisters Nell Hawks, Marie Swift and Marlin Ann Green.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, November 10th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Henderson Cemetery at Finney. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Wednesday.
