Arthur is son of Gilbert T. and Julia (Allen) Maples Aldridge.
He is husband to Sarah Catherine Briggs.
In 1891 he made a specialty of raising seed potatoes in a small way, and from year to year has increased his business until it has reached large proportions. He finds a demand for his potatoes in all parts of the United States and Canada and in various other countries. He conducts the business exclusively as a mail order business and sells direct to the farmers.
He is interested in municipal affairs and has served the town three years as assessor.
At one time Arthur apparently sold cars. "Dodge Brothers Motor Car"
Arthur was in the military stationed in France.
-a session of inquest over the death of Arthur G. Aldridge, the late well known business man of Victor who was killed by an early morning train in front of the Victor Station on June 7th. From the evidence added at the inquest today it is practically certain that Mr. Aldridge died of heart trouble and fell onto the tracks just before the train came along. That he was dead or at least unconscious when struck seems to be assured.
I want to thank Kathy Berryhill for sponoring Arthur's memorial. You are a good friend.
Thanks again and God Bless.
I wish to thank all who leave notes and flowers on my great grandfather's memorial.
Thank you and God Bless
