Colleen Creach entered this world June 1, 1948 to Ernest and Virginia (Drinnon) Creach in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is now with Jesus passing from this life Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Colleen graduated from Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in reading. She later acquired a certification as a reading specialist. She loved teaching children for 35 years at Canute and Jenks elementary. Many students will remember her gingerbread cookies made at Christmas for 25 years for them to decorate.

Colleen lived the Christian life and trusted God to take care of her every need. She always offered a helping hand when needed. Her upbeat outlook on life impacted many. As a member at First Baptist Church of Tulsa, she sang in their choir for many years and served in the preschool area. Also, she was an active member in the local teacher’s sorority.

Colleen was proceeded in death by her dad Ernest Eugene Creach, brother Wayne Scott Creach, and niece Kaycee Dawn Remy. She leaves behind her mom Virginia, brothers Wally, Paul, Dan, and Bill. Her sisters Marlene, Alana, and Darlene. And many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all and welcomed into heaven.

Visitation will be at Floral Haven Funeral home Saturday, November 12, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Services will be at First Baptist Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma Sunday, November 13 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, November 14th at Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m.
Donations may be made to Arthritis Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
