Supervisor's Wife Dies Here at 55
Mrs. Agnes D. Amendola, 55, of 1005 Ferry Avenue, died Wednesday, (October 14, 1959) in Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of John A. Amendola, Niagara County supervisor representing the 5th Ward here.
Born in Brantford, Ontario, Mrs. Amendola attended schools in Canada before moving to Niagara Falls 35 years ago.
She was employed by the New York Telephone Co. for 20 years as an operator in the traffic department.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her mother, Mrs. Margaret Walsh, and two brothers, John J. and Frank W. Walsh, all of this city.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 at the Spallino Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Lebanon Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
