She was the beloved wife of the late Gregory G. Acampora.
Dorothy was born in New Haven on Feb. 6, 1925, daughter of the late Americo and Josephine Castiglione Gabucci;
had worked as a bookkeeper for Rossotto Construction, Inc. for over 35 years, and later the former Etkind & Salcoff, Inc.;
was a member of the Order of the Sons of Italy, Greater New Haven Lodge 37, the Marchegiano Society Ladies Auxiliary and the North Haven Senior Center.
Family:
She was the mother of Patricia A. Acampora, Peter (Josephine) Acampora and Gregory (Marie) Acampora;
grandmother of Amanda Acampora, Brian (Lindsey)Acampora, Jody (John) Rowley; great-grandmother of Matthew, Spencer and Parker Rowley; sister of Harold (Teresa) Gabucci, and the late Leona Zandri, and Raymond Gabucci.
Interment was followed in All Saints Cemetery.
