Odell Brown, 67, of Wytheville, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016.
He was born Jan. 15, 1949, in Galax, to the late Hasten Alexander Brown and Reba Kyle Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Taylor Brown; daughter, Jessica "Poppy" Taylor of Wytheville; four sons, Randy Brown of Wytheville, Derrick Brown of Galax, Nicky Brown of Galax and Rashard Brown of New Jersey; two step-sons, Nolan Taylor of Wytheville and Michael Taylor of Wytheville; four sisters, Jo Ann Cox of Galax, Juanita Gambill of Christiansburg, Nadine Anderson of Galax and Marilyn Brown of Galax; three brothers, James Henry Brown, Roger Brown and Stevie Brown, all of Galax; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Jo Ann Cox officiating.
