Enoch Bridges is the fourth son of James and Mary Ann Stockdale Bridges. He never married.

Enoch Bridges served in the Civil War as a private in Co. H, 54 Kentucky Infantry and as such was provided a military headstone. All of his brothers also served in the Union Army. He enlisted on 1 Sept 1864 in New Castle, Kentucky at age 19.

Oscar Bridges is found in the following US Federal Census records:
- 1850 Mason Co., Kentucky with parents and four brothers
- 1860 Maysville, Mason Co., Kentucky with parents, two brothers
- 1870 Maysville, Mason Co., Kentucky with parents, one brother, occupation railroad laborer
