Ralph F. Garrard, 81, died Tuesday at Henry County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Patricksburg and was a Navy veteran of World War I. He had worked at Chrysler Corp for 33 years, retiring in 1963. He had been a member of the Indiana State Police during the 1930s. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Vela; three daughters, Mary Carmichael, Joyce Bean and Carol Little; and one brother, Fred.
Three sisters and three brothers are deceased.
