She was born to Garvin D. and Juanita Lafawn Duncan Skaggs.
Ms. Southey was a nurse's aide at Royal Oaks Nursing Home.
Survivors include her father, Garvin Skaggs of Shawnee; two daughters, Tabitha Welch and husband Brit of Ottumwa, IA and Tracie Welch and husband Brice of Tulsa; a son, Chace Rainey of Shawnee; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jimmy Skaggs and wife Patricia of Sun City, AZ and Darrin Skaggs of Shawnee.
She was proceeded in death by her mother; a brother, Doyle Skaggs; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorial services for Jacqueline Faye Southey 63 of Shawnee are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel Jerry Skaggs will officiate.
