HILARIA A. PFEFFER

Hilaria A. (Larey) Pfeffer, age 82, of 1015 Madison St., Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, June 24, 2005, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

She was born June 17, 1923, in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Schad Anhalt. Hilaria was a graduate of Kiel High School, class of 1942 and then attended two years of business college. She was married to Willaim J. Pfeffer for 58 years. They were married on Sept. 13, 1947, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Hilaria was employed with Harris Radio Repair of Manitowoc.

Survivors include her husband: William J. Pfeffer, Manitowoc; four daughters and sons-in-law: Mary and David Franz, Manitowoc; Ann and Michael Bushman, Valders; Heidi and Gary Severson, Edgewood, Ky.; Sue and Randy Verbeten, Union Grove; three sons and daughters-in-law: William J. and Marge Pfeffer, Santa Rosa, Calif.; Michael and Anne Pfeffer, Woodinville, Wash.; Peter Pfeffer, Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren: Matthew and Ethan Bushman; Erin and Billy Pfeffer; Eric, Grace and Corey Severson; Chad and Rochelle Pfeffer; and Nathan and Tally Verbeten; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary Ann and Andrew Salm, Newton; and two brothers-in-law: Joseph Pfeffer and his wife: Pauline, Manitowoc; and Gerald Teteak, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Margaret; an infant son: Robert; and two sisters and a brother-in-law: Leona and Louis Heinzen; and Anita Anhalt.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, until the time of service at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. Cremation has taken place with entombment of the cremated remains at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
