Mickey Buzzard age 75, of Sturgis, KY a native of Dawson Springs, KY died 11/18/ 2016 at Methodist Hospital Union County. Mickey was a business owner and operator of Buzzard's Café & The Hitching Post in Sturgis. He love nature, bird watching, hiking and reading was his quiet time. He is preceded in death by his parents Emmit & Bealuh Buzzard, 2 brothers George & Frank Buzzard. 2 sister's Linda Miller & Rosemary Coons.

Survivors include:

2 Son's - Preston (Michelle) Buzzard of Sturgis, KY. Brian (Michelle) Buzzard of Sturgis, KY. 1 Daughter - Jenny (Joseph) Harrison of Meadows Place, Texas.

1 – Brother Carl Buzzard of Dawson Springs, KY. 1 – Sister Isabelle Estes of Hopkinsville, KY.

10 - Grandchildren 2 – Great Grandchildren

Funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday 11/23/2016 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY. Bro. Charles Foster will officiate. Visitation will be 12 noon – 2PM on Wednesday 11/23/16 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Caseyville Cemetery in Caseyville. Memorial contributions can be made to Audubon Society.
