Cora was born in Mille Lacs County to Leonard and Martha Kuhrke Bockoven. She married Nels Jensen in 1915, where the settled on a farm and ran a resort on Green Lake. She continued to run the resort after being widowed in 1948. In the 1970's, she sold the resort and moved into Princeton. Moving to Arkansas in the late 1980's.

She was survived by children, grandchildren, great and great grandchildren.
