Lela E. Mathess, 94, of Columbus, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008.
She was born in Freed, the daughter of the late Rev. Jacob and Ola Snider.
She was a 30-year member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church and a member of Mary Circle.
Surviving are five sons, Gary, Donza, Ronza, Keith and Billy Mathess; one sister Bernice Kral; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mathess.
Services were held in Hoy Chapel, Freed. Burial was in Saunders Cemetery.
