Bridges, Bill Gene (Oct 7, 1929 - Sept 12, 2012) Bill Gene Bridges, died peacefully in Dallas, TX on Wednesday at the age of 82 when the Lord called him home. He was preceded in death much too soon by his wife, JoAnn Buss, and later by his twin brother, Bobby Joe Bridges. He is survived by his two sons: Phillip Howard Bridges and wife, Cindy, of Roanoke, TX, their three children, spouses and four grandchildren, and Barry Gene Bridges and wife, Jill, of Flower Mound, TX, and their three children. He is also survived by Janet Cleary ("Grandma Jan"), his dear life partner of Dallas, TX, who gave so much to all of us for the last 15 years by loving and caring for Bill so deeply. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ, his family, golf, the Dallas Cowboys and people. Most everyone in the Assisted Living home knew "Wild Bill" as he drove around on his power scooter visiting with folks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who loved his country, and served her during the Korean War. A memorial service is planned for 9/19/12 at 2:00 at Crossroads Bible Church in Double Oak, TX. The family requests that you donate to our US Veterans or in lieu of sending flowers.
