George Francis Alberts, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 87. George was born to parents George and Letta Mae Alberts on January 31, 1929 in Loveland, CO. He grew up the eldest of five siblings. “When [he] was a little girl” he attended high school in Longmont, CO. In 1949, he married the love of his life Donna Kennedy on Christmas Day. He always said their marriage was the best Christmas present he ever received. Together, they had two daughters. George worked for the Ma Bell phone company in different positions until he retired. After retirement, Donna and George greatly enjoyed bargain hunting at garage sales.

George is survived by his two daughters, Marlea Conlin and Colleen Huddleson; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife and two great-grandchildren, Elise Hoffman and Dylan Izer-Gibson.
