Ernestine Marie Howell Miller, 68, of Longview Road, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and other times at the home.
Mrs. Miller was born January 17, 1948, in Jacksonville, Fl., to Clyde Henry Howell and Pearlie Mae Todd Howell. She was a member of New Beginnings Holiness Church in Thomasville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Gail Bohannon and Betty Jo Lawrence; and brothers, Henry, Vernon, and David Howell.
Surviving are her loving husband Roger Dale Miller Sr. of the home; son, Roger Dale Miller Jr. and wife Tiffany of Lexington; daughters, Tina Leonard and husband Chris and Joanie Moretz and husband Shannon, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Chrissy Putnam, Dahlen Leonard, Summer Forrest, Tyler Forrest, Kayla Miller, Taylor Moretz, Brittany Moretz, Mackenzie Moretz, and Carley Moretz; great-grandchildren, Hunter Putnam, Paisley Putnam, Reese Putnam, and Audrey Kate Leonard; brothers, Jimmy Howell, Gerald Howell, and Johnny Howell, all of Jacksonville, Fl.; and sisters, Barbara Lewis, Mary Louise Ramsey, Erma Holton and Debbie Fiest, all of Florida, and Merlene Wincoff of Georgia.
