Dennis "Denny" Macy, age 60 of Lynden passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He was born on October 29, 1948 in Ellington, Missouri to James and Bertha Macy. Denny served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a decorated Vietnam veteran.
He loved fishing, boating and golf. He loved life, and had a sense of humor as big as the world, right up until the end. Denny is survived by his wife, Sharen Macy; sons, Brent (Shannon) and Greg (Amy) Macy, Shane Bouffiou and Bryan (Vanessa) Bell; daughter, Babbette Shannon; brothers, Allen, Earl and Ray Macy; sisters, Nita Peterson and Mae Vanderpool; and grandchildren, Larrissa, Kyle, Caitlyn, Sabrina, Aidan, Brianna and Jax; and Victoria due in September.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Christ the King, North County in Lynden. Denny will be watching, so be comfortable! No suits or ties!!!
