He was born in Boone County, Indiana on Nov. 7, 1910, the son of Theordore Grant "Dora" and Eliza J. "Isabelle/Bell/Belle" Wellman Burtron.
He is survived by sons, William Franklin "Bill" Burtron with the U.S. Navy,
Charles Ray Burtron, California, James "Jimmie" Burtron, Illinois; two daughters,
Joanne Ruth Cooper, Texas, and Patricia Anne "Patty" Cornwell, Illinois; 10 grandchildren;
a brother, Claude Venton Sr. Burtron, Sheridan; and a sister, Dona Margrett Lee, R. 2, Sheridan.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; First x-wife Margaret Pearel Johnson; Second x?-wife Merle Lavina Sargent Burtron who he married 3 May 1944 in Redlands, San Bernardino County, California; Sisters Edna Leona Burtron, Maude Florance Burtron Williams, a brother Kenneth L. Burtron.
He was a farmer and a general laborer working in the Sargent Family orange groves in California while residing there.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Medical Corps. Assisted in Tonsillectomys (surgical removal of the tonsils).
Services are Friday at 2 p.m. at the Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan with the
Rev. Jesse Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Crown View cemetery, Sheridan.
