THORNVILLE -- Paul P. (Preston) Kelchner, 64, of Fairfield Beach, Thornville, entered eternal life Saturday, July 24, 2004, at the home of his daughter.
He was born Nov. 8, 1939, in Bloomsburg, Pa., to the late Rev. Preston and Suzan Nelson (Patton) Kelchner.
"Small Paul" enjoyed life with family and friends, biking and was a member of the I.B.A. and the Moose Lodge, Newark, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Mae of Fairfield Beach; one daughter, Babbette J. (Thomas) Spencer of Fairfield Beach; five stepchildren, Bret Crane of Newark, Kim (Harley) Minkos of Newark, Greg Harris of Buckeye Lake, Charlie Ray (Patsy) Harris of Somerset and Jerry Harris of Somerset; three grandchildren, Brittany, Levi and Courtney Spencer of Fairfield Beach; 12 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 27, 2004, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Boring-Sheridan Funeral Home, Thornville Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Ore officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.
