Becky L. Downs, 65, of LaPorte, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016.
She was born June 27, 1951, to Carl and Freda (Rensberger) Young.
Becky was retired as a medical billing representative. She graduated in 1970 from LaPorte High School. Becky enjoyed crafts.
She married Robert E. Gaekle. On Oct. 9, 1994, she married Randall C. Downs, who preceded her in death Nov. 27, 2004.
Becky leaves behind a son, Christopher (Amy) Gaekle of Louisville, KY; daughter, Alivia (Barbie) (Troy) Walker of Kingsford Heights, IN; four sisters, Shelia (Dave) Stoewer, Karla (Jody) Schoof, Shelley (Rip) Ludlow and Anita (Pat) Sightes, all of LaPorte; stepson, Donald Downs of LaPorte; grandchildren, Avery, Ayden, Arlaux, Atticus, Aramiss, Wade, and Kayanna of LaPorte, and Kacie, Kaitlyn and Brandon of Louisville; great-granddaughter, Ava of Vincennes, IN; and many nieces, nephews, and her extended family in Louisville.
Besides her husband Randall, Becky was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Arissa Gaekle.
