To honor the request of Larry Dean Dewitt, 63, of Mount Vernon, only a graveside service will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Owl Creek Cemetery, Owl Creek Church Road, Mount Vernon,
with the Rev. Robert E. Heizer officiating.=.
Larry died Aug. 8, 2006, at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, after a short illness.
He was born Feb. 8, 1943, in Delaware County, to the late Earl and Ada (Houston) Dewitt.
He was a self-employed truck driver for Shelly Co., Thornville. As a young man, he worked at
Coad's Potato Farm and Wahl Motor Sales, both in Utica.
He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Lyle and Marie Dewitt,and Raymond Dewitt,and nephew Andrew Dewitt,
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers,and three half-brothers,
