Florence was the daughter of Charles and Tryphona Schrader, Watersmeet, Mi. She was married to Earl Tuttle Sr. and they had four sons. Her husband preceded her in death in 1965. She had two grandchildren, Christine and Steven Tuttle, children of her second eldest son, Earl Jr. Florence loved to sew and do gardening. She was always busy and just enjoyed life.
